CREATIVE ARTS TEAM / Pam Nipelle The creative arts
team exists to add beauty, meaning and connection to our
weekly services through stage design, lighting and multimedia
elements. We are looking for people interested in using their
God-given talents to enhance our services as well as special
events and communion Sundays. We are not only interested in
artistic people but those with the ability to build, sew, or
with technical abilities. pam@mountainviewchurch.com
DISCIPLESHIP GROUPS / Gloria Kern
Discipleship groups are
more intense for those who are ready to
take some initiative to grow in their
faith. These groups of 2-4 people use
a 24-week curriculum that guides each
person into a thorough grounding in the
Christian faith. Men’s groups and women’s
groups are starting up all the time and
once started are closed for the duration
of the group to permit more consistent
accountability. gloria.kern@cox.net
HOME GROUPS / John Rydell
Get connected - Our Home
Groups are a place to build relationships
and study God's word, a place to know
and be known, to love and be loved, to
serve and be served, to celebrate and
be celebrated! Home groups meet throughout
the week in different areas and involve
the whole church family. john@networxonline.com
HOST TEAM / John and Donna
Rodarmel
Friendly, outgoing individuals
are needed to help " Warm up the front
door" by welcoming each person as they
enter the worship center. Also, assist
visitors & families in reaching the
children's area. Hospitality is a great
way to get to know new people and serve
at Mountain View. Team members warm up
our courtyard with coffee, donut &
juice. rodarmel@cox.net
INFORMATION TEAM / Pam Nipelle The information team creates
and updates all information going out to the body each week.
Creation of the weekly bulletin and updating the website each
week are an example of the types of things the information
team covers. This is a new team and members are needed. pam@mountainviewchurch.com
CARE TEAM / Gloria Kern
This ministry provides meals to those in the Mountain View body
as well as the surrounding community.
This service is provided on an " as needed"
basis. Please let us know when there has
been a new baby in the family or a crisis
that we can help your family through with
meals from the families in our church
body. gloria@mountainviewchurch.com.
MEN’S MINISTRY / Steve Muck
The men’s ministry is in
need of men to organize events, bible
studies and retreats. steve@mountainviewchurch.com
MISSIONS
We believe God wants hurting people helped wherever
we find them. We also believe God wants us to expand his
kingdom beyond our own borders, so we reach out in several
ways. We support global mission through our denomination and
Every Generation Ministries as well as our outreach to a
church in Mexico through our Youth Mexicali outreach. We also
sponsor monthly trips to the Casa Hogar Belen orphanage in
Mexico.
